CCWD Construction UpdatesContra Costa Water District Gregory Gardens Main Replacement Project
To ensure continued reliable water service, Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) is replacing approximately 5,100 feet of water main pipe within the Gregory Gardens neighborhood. Streets that will be affected by the construction work include Lucille Lane (between Kathleen Drive and Maureen Lane), Maureen Lane (between Lucille Lane and Elinora Drive), Elinora Drive (between Maureen Lane and Leslie Drive), Leslie Drive, Margie Drive, Susan Lane, and Doray Drive (near Shirley Drive).
To reduce the impact to the neighborhood, CCWD's contractor will minimize traffic disruptions and parking restrictions to the extent possible, while maintaining access for local residents at all times. Work hours will be limited to 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Water service will remain available during the construction of the new pipeline, although temporary water outage is anticipated during certain phases of work.
