Are you a Pleasant Hill resident aged 65 or older and need some light yard work done around the front of your home?

The Civic Action Commission, in partnership with the Commission on Aging and the Senior Center, is holding the 2nd annual Senior Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 27th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is intended to benefit seniors in Pleasant Hill who may need some help with clearing weeds, trimming shrubs, and other light landscaping needs.

The Commission is also in need of volunteers to participate in this inter-generational event. If you are good with a rake and want to help some folks in need, then we need you!

Register now as a volunteer or signup for assistance
(for seniors aged 65 and older, residing in Pleasant Hill)

Seniors who are interested and individuals who want to volunteer can contact Gayle Vassar at (925) 671-5229 or for more information.

The event is co-sponsored by the Commission on Aging and the Pleasant Hill Senior Center.
